Taking the advice of a wise man, I've decided to start a list of the little things I'm learning along the road, because otherwise I'll probably forget them. Start your own list! Here's mine so far:
I’ve learned that people seldom tell the truth unless they trust you.
I’m learning that bugs, birds, and bunnies have a lot more to teach me than I’d like to think.
I’m learning that deciding to have a positive attitude is greatest favor you can do for yourself.
I’m learning that it takes 24 hours for a truly selfless act to stop being tedious and annoying and become deep and fulfilling.
I'm learning that extreme exhaustion and hunger can feel really good, but never extreme cold and heat.
I'm learning that saying "No" often does both of you a favor.
I'm learning that it's easier for me to do things that demand short bursts of passionate frenzy than those that require long durations of tasteless commitment.
